Happy November!

Happy November! I think it's amazing that as soon as Halloween is over, you start seeing Christmas commercials! What ever happened to Thanksgiving? I really do love Thanksgiving. There's no commercialism, you spend time with your family eating delicious food and getting fat, and having a good time. Anyway, we had a good time on Halloween. Someone in our ward had a little get together. No one except the kids dressed up, but we dressed up! Halloween only comes once a year. We just found something really quick that we already had. And I needed something that I could fit into.

Next, one of the best things about fall/winter is that grapefruit is in season! This week was the first time Aldi had grapefruit again and I was SOOOOO excited! Grapefruit is one of my favorite things ever (probably a taste I got from my dad). Grapefruit was always the food my dad had, and I would always eat it too. I've loved it ever since I was little. I don't want any sugar or anything on it. Just give me a straight grapefruit and I am in heaven.

Another thing I got from my dad is how we eat a grapefruit (except a little different). I take a towel and a knife, then peel it and enjoy every delicious bite. Unfortunately, both my dad and I sometimes forget to throw the peels away. Then our spouses (my mom and Wendell) go to put the towel away, and grapefruit peels go everywhere. Oops! It is kinda funny though. We find out what gender the baby is next Tuesday! I'm pretty excited to find out so that I can start picturing things and buying things. I keep getting random things in the mail about baby stuff, which makes me excited. If any of you find good deals on baby stuff (especially diapers and wipes), I am definitely willing to hear them!

Well, if you missed what I said about Maceys...
Go to abundantfoodsavings.com, scroll down and on the left side is a thing that says Huggies deals or something like that. Then click on the link that will take you to the coupon for $2 off any DIAPER PRODUCT. You print the coupon and if you press the back button you can get a second coupon. The Huggies tubs are 2.39 at my target and with $2 off, that's .39 for 72 wipes which is really good. Sad to say I haven't seen any good diaper stuff. It made me ill when last week I had to spend 17.5c/diaper.

Sign up now for pampers, huggies, formula websites and they'll start sending you emails and coupons in the mail. I put the due date like 1-2 weeks before my actual due date so that I would get the stuff sooner.

I can't count how many times I picked up a dish towel in the living room just to have grapefruit peels fly everywhere. The memories.
